SAP Group Manager:

Will be responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative responsibilities to manage a financial portfolio and operations of a very active group. Will serve as the financial liaison to the Division Office and as the Group's SAP expert. Responsibilities will include developing, analyzing, monitoring, and reporting multiple program financial status. Will prepare budgets for program-specific spend plans, and use SAP and other tools to track costs, analyze trends, and generate reports for Group, Division, and sponsor use. Will be an integral member of Group Office operations, working closely with Group management to budget and proactively identify and resolve financial and administrative issues. Will be the front-line contact to the sponsor's financial POC for financial matters. Will authorize budget expenditures and approve Lincoln and subcontractor timesheets. Will serve as the Group's Certified User for all shopping carts and processing approvals in EBP and R/3 for monetary requests and ship orders. Will serve as the Group's Space Coordinator and monitor all space/construction projects through completion stage. Will serve as the Group Property Coordinator. May provide work leadership and/or supervise other employees. Will carry out special projects as required.


MA/MBA or BA in business, a related field or equivalent with 5 years experience in budget development and administration of government projects and a working knowledge of contractual documents. Candidate must possess an understanding of transactional, financial, and government financial processes with strong analytical and estimating techniques. Must possess competence with business financial systems and proficient in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. Must have working level familiarity with computer-based financial management tools, and experience with Microsoft Office and proficiency in advance Excel functions. Candidate must have demonstrated exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, mature judgment, self-confidence, and a cooperative and responsible approach to work. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Familiarity with SAP is desired.
