Power Systems Electrical Engr
Job Description:
An experienced Power
Systems / Electronics engineer comfortable working with commercial off-the-shelf
and custom hardware designs to achieve system requirements. Responsibilities
will require leading a team of engineers in developing proven designs based on
modeling and simulations. Additional responsibilities will include managing
budgets and schedules as the leader of a development team. Candidate should
expect to work closely with Systems Engineers and other development team members
in translating system performance and operational specifications into hardware
requirements, design, and test specifications.
Basic Skills:
Minimum of 10 years
experience in the design of high power systems, power converters, as well as
technical and task management.
Project management skills.
Comfortable in power
hardware/ subsystems integrations laboratory environment and experienced in
using technical equipment to test and verify functions of hardware.
Required
Education(including Major):
BS in Electrical
Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
Desired Skills:
Past technical, hardware
development and radar systems experience in a DOD environment are highly
desirable.
Desired
application analytical skills include experience in verifying and modeling power
systems and electronics using Pspice.
The ability to
work with Raytheon vendors to ensure proper implementation of state-of-the-art
product designs.
